Do Lettuce Cross pollinate???

i am actually growing some lettuce. i always collect my own seeds and sow them again. i recently got snother variety of lettuce. Will the lettuce cross pollinate with each other or i still can keep on collecting the seeds from both plants safely. :?: :?: :?:

Yes, insects can cross-pollinate different lettuces. Here is a link paper that discusses the cross-pollination of various plant species:
