Ever had EVERYTHING that you planted come up?

This is now my second year at the whole veggie growing malarky and I hate to say it, but I have some serious green fingers, I find myself walking around the garden, checking on my plants and most of all my veggies. But unlike last year EVERYTHING I PLANTED CAME UP.

It's also time to move my small veggie garden around a bit as I need more space. I can move the lower beds up closer to larger bricked one and I want to move out my herb pots as they are simply taking up too much space. I should be able to get a whole lot more space out of my garden in the up coming months.

Now I'm running out of space in my little garden, so I started planting out stuff into various spots in the garden. Luckily I have a fence around the pool area where the dogs can't get to, so this gives me some much needed space to plant more veggies.

Also made some brick and slate topped chairs for the garden, so that I can relax and just sit under the tree that will hopefully be there in a few years time.......

I had a little trouble with my onions I'm not sure if it was all the rain we had this year or the neighbors dog who I found laying in my garden he had been digging a spot to lay.
my garden seems to get larger every year and so do my flower beds
guess thats why I have to do the mowing
You have a very nice place!
I noticed a solid fence is that to keep the big animals out or for privacy

I used to come home and put on the sprinklers and in 4-5 spots I'd just see a huge gush of water as my little jack russel would have bit the heads off. I got sp sick of this that I bolted sprayers to the wall and hid the pipes.

Thanks........ :D ........I love my space and even locally having a 2500 m sq garden is not that common. But I have one of the older stands and they're pretty big.

Solid fences over here in back yards are pretty common and are mainly for privacy.

lol, that last post made me smile this side.

Believe it or not it's the end of winter/ spring this side of the globe and it's actually our dryest season of the year. When the rains start, then you'll really see the garden take off.

I think the most wild thing I've seen in my back yard was my sister in law when she's had a few too much to drink and a bit too much sun.

Hi Gary B!
I think your garden is pretty cool and so is your yard. :) I'm new at this site and have been reading past topics, etc...IIts almost been a year since you posted here, just wondering how your plants are doing this year. Did you plant even more? Would love to see new pics. I'm totally getting into this, and living in Hawaii I guess I'm lucky enough to be able to pretty much be able to grow year round, now I just need to do my research, read various topics/forums and figure out what else I want to plant other than my tomatoes. NE way, hope to get an update on your plantings and hope your green thumb is still working for you.
Aloha 4 now!
