Watermelon

I planted my watermelon kinda late. Right now it is producing males flowers...no female flowers just yet...Now I live in southern Connecticut and I'm wondering...is it too late in the season to expect a watermelon?

I did a quick google. Several sources appear when googling "watermelon bloom to harvest." Content of two sources indicate that watermelons usually produce fruit 26-30 days from pollination. So I would think that there should be hope, though things grow a little slower in September. When is your first frost date?
