cucumber question

I have harvested some cucumbers from my garden and they seem a little strange. Alot of flesh and very little membrane ( the seedy gelatin)it the middle. Is this a lack of water?

could be lack of water how big is the cuccumber and what color is it? I mean does it have any yellowish tint some times the nitrogen in the soil might be low if it is mushy and full of seeds then mabe you got it to late most cuccumbers will turn mushy and be packed full of seeds if you wate too long to harvest hope this helps
