Does the sunlight seem hotter?
We've been having surprisingly beautiful days here, up to 20C (approaching 80F xx - edited 75F.) Very enjoyable, but the sunlight on my unprotected arms & face feels unusually fierce - to the point of being uncomfortable! Is it my imagination, is it because I'm another year older , , or is it maybe due to reduced pollution in this lockdown period?

It has been a warm winter. The plants have definitely noticed since they are blooming out of season.
The sun gets hotter as it has aged, but it doesn't change fast enough for our human lifespans to notice. Air pollution is less. The ozone layer actually had a bit of time to recover and not having all those particles in the air should have reduced greenhouse gasses at least temporarily. The effects on pollution change was dramatic. The air actually cleared fairly well over Wuhan on the global pollution map. What effect the shutdown of most industries in the world at the same time will have only time will tell.
According to NOAA 2019 was the second warmest year on record. January 2020 was the hottest January on record and it is predicted that 2020 will be another record year for heat.
