Black Currant

My husband wants to try and plant these ..He wants to use them in beer mixes..
How do I grow them?
Where do I get them?
What else do I need to know?

Currants are easy to grow, just plant them in a hole and prune it down a little each fall. Add some compost to the hole as well as some rotted manure. Don't really need much else.

Though, I'm curious as to what you have in your beer mix? Is it just Barley and hops?
