Kale Quandry

What's the difference between ornamental and edible kale?

I like eating kale and was given an ornamental kale but have been afraid to try eating anythign from it.

Oh the ornamentals CAN be eaten, but they were raised for appearance not taste, so I'd stick to the green stuff for eatin'...

Just to satisfy my curiosity, can you give a description of your plant? The ornamental Kale that is.
