Solution to Prevent Insect Damage on Edible Plants?

Hello All,
I am a newbie to grow plants. From Tx, US.

I am trying to grow few plants in pots. They started growing fine, but lately I see few leaves are tattered or eaten by insects. (Pictures attached).

Can anyone please suggest what can I use on edible herbs to fix this problem?
Thank you
SJ

Put out slug bait every two weeks and hunt them down in the evening with a flashlight or early in the morning. I have better luck early in the morning. Slugs and snails like warm wet places. Look under rocks, sides of pots. You can use beer traps or a propped up board to trap them.

You will not be 100% pest free but it helps to attract predators to the garden by providing food and habitat for them. Toads and hens also like slugs. The hens will eat young seedlings too.

Thank you for your response, imafan26. I will try baiting, but sounds too painful process. :P

Is there any medicine I can use to spray - Miracle grow / Dr Earth products?
