Assassin Bug Nymph or Leaffooted Bug Nymph

Hello All,

Would you please help me ID this bug from my backyard? I took these two pictures to Armstrong Garden Center and they couldn't ID them. Then, I sent these pictures to the local county agricultural commissioner office and they said it could be leaffooted bug nymph but they are not certain without sending a live bug to the lab for ID. So, I did own my research and the bug could be assassin bug nymph (beneficial bug) or leaffooted bug nymph (Pest). I don't want to kill the good one, so, some insight, please. I live in Orange County California, not sure it helps with ID this bug. Let me know what other information you need.

I found this bug on my wax apple fruit tree. It was just there on the leaf and didn't seem to be bothered by me when I startled it. It seemed pretty calm and didn't try to run away.

This bug was on my rose. It looked similar to the bug pictured above, just a little bit color variation, so, I think these are the same type but I am not certain.

I don't see leaffoots -- the extra flat width on the hind legs are very obvious on the leaffoots.

The orange one looks like a Leafhopper Assassin bug:

Still looking for the green one. Found a similar looking critter on Pinterest but it wasn't identified.

Apparently there are different colors for different stages. Here is a whole page of Zelus renardii nymphs including both colors that you have seen.
