Milky Spore seems to work

Hi Folks,

This time last year, Japanese Beetles were overrunning everything in my yard, hundreds and hundreds everywhere.This year, I've only seen 8 JBs so far. Seems the Milky Spore works. Long live Milky Spore......

A friend of mine just told me that they have only started to emerge. God, I hope he's wrong. From what I remember, the number seems far fewer than what they were last year at this time.

I'll keep you all posted with the final results of the Milky Spore.

I just started seeing JB's a couple weeks ago in my area...

Milky spore should help with the problem. I does need to be applied at the right time of the year.

Yup, I'm seeing too many JB's. With no grapes to be a trap crop, they mostly seem fixated on my basil, eating it to lace. I know it is them, because I keep seeing them on it. I'm going to try the milky spore in the fall. Maybe with a side dressing of predatory nematodes!

I applied it in the fall via the one tea spoon every four feet method. Just make sure you do it right before a long and steady rainfall.
