Any idea what these bugs are?

They've infested my yard this year they're everywhere.

I'm sorry you're infested :( I can't really tell from your pics (I'm sure the experts will be able to), but it might help if you included your location in your profile so folks know where you are. That will likely offer clues as to the type of insects you have.

I'm having a hard time making out detail with the pictures. You can check here: https://esc-sec.ca/aafcmonographs/bousquet1990.pdf to piece together what it is if it is a beetle of concern to crops. Using shape and form of various parts of the insect are a great way to identify but if you want drawings you'll need to scroll down to page 51.

Well didn't figure out what they were. But the wife hung some little cups of apple cider vinegar on the trees and put a couple buckets of soapy water around and the bugs are all gone now.
