Organic Insect Disease Control - A Joke

When's the best time to release Lady Bugs in your garden?

At night, so you don't see them fly away.

Kind of a joke, kind of not. My OH teacher told it, suggesting that most all of the ladybugs purchased for garden release do not stay immediate to the release area, they fly a bit before deciding where to hang out.

:D :?

You can improve the odds by chilling them in fridge first so they aren't as mobile, releasing them at twilight so they are going to sleep soon, watering before you release them, so there are water droplets available for them, and having plants flowering that they like.
