Bug ID

Hello, I was hoping somebody could tell me what this bug might be. This one has me stumped, I just can't seem to find a match online.

Only bit of info I have on it is that's fast and small (about 1/8", maybe a tad bigger). For example it appears to just sit on the leaf, and if you go to touch it, it does what I can only describe as teleporting. It just darts and appears on another leaf in a blink of an eye. I don't see any chewing or other insect damage, so I'm not sure if he's good or bad.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like some kind of leaf hopper.

It looks like it could be a leaf hopper or tree hopper. They have many different species but generally have that shape.

They suck on plant juices and are not good bugs. They are not that easy to catch. They try to blend in but can jump.

Thanks guys and/or gals. I will start dealing with them now that I know. I inspect my plants many times a day (even go out at night with a flashlight) and I haven't seen that many of them, just a few so I don't think it's an infestation yet.

Sad thing is I caught one yesterday to take a closer look, then let it go because I wasn't sure....oops :> .

Going to try manual removal and start neem oil again to see if that helps.

Thanks!

Vacuuming them up helps too!
