I have been using baking soda spray for years as an antifungal as well as for spider mites.

Other non-garden uses

Deodorizer for the garbage can, refrigerator

Add it to laundry as a laundry booster

Pour it down the garbage disposal

Make a paste of baking soda to clean the bathroom. Non-scratching.

Washing the "wax" off produce. Be careful. Chinese restaurants often soak vegetables in water with baking soda. While it brightens the colors, it can also deplete nutrients.

Extinguish small fires. You should have the right fire extinguisher handy too.

Very nice! Some of these I knew about (e.g. fungicide for plants) and some I didn't - never occurred to me to use it for washing my hands. Have to try that.

Vinegar and baking soda together make very effective cleaning solution for getting rid of old dirt and odors.
