Water spray for aphids - question
Hi, I have a dumb question. If you use water to spray aphids and other bugs off your plants, what stops them from flying or crawling back onto the plant? Thanks!
Aloha!
Sure some may crawl back up depending on the force of the water, and their location. But in general they are soft bodied, so they do get injured quite easily.
I try to squash as much as I can without too much pressure on the plant and spray/wash. Most definitely keep your hands/ tools clean as much as possible. Keep an eye out for the direction you are spraying since you could move them to a close by plant.
