White grubs

I know I ask alot of questions on here and I really do appreciate the feed back you all give.

I have abunch of white grubs in the garden...is this a bad thing or what? I notice everytime I dig out there I end uo bringing more than one to the surface. They are the milky white looking grubs.

If I need to get rid of them what should I do?

Thanks

Yes, they would be Japanese beetle larvae or some relative. And yes milky spore is a good organic control for them. It is a disease that only affects these beetle larvae and is harmless to everything else.

You can buy it in powder or granular form to put down on your grass or where ever you are seeing the grubs, like this:

Once applied to the soil, the micro-organisms live in the soil and multiply, so it doesn't need to be reapplied for a very long time.
