Those are either eggs of the dreaded Gamboo giganticus or birds nest fungi and not eggs at all. For the sake of all humanity, I pray it is the latter.

Thanks so much! I enriched my soil with composted manure, mulched with hay, and we've been getting a lot of rain lately which, based on what I've read, is the perfect recipe for bird's nest fungi. Glad to hear its nothing harmful.
