Squash vine borers
All of my zucchini plants have Squash vine borers . I cut them out, but I don't think the plants will live. How do you keep them out? Many of them already wilted and died. Does anybody have any tips?

Type squash vine borers into the Search the Forum key word box and you will find TONS that's been written here about them.
I have always lost my zucchinis to them. This year, I wrapped the bottom few inches of the stem including a little bit below ground and a few inches above ground in tin foil AND I am growing it under row cover. So far it is doing great... Bigger than it's ever gotten, usually they have died by now.
