Well this morning things are looking a little perkier in my garden after my near catastrophe.
My beans sprouted new flowers where I removed the dead leaves . . .yeaa!
I found FOUR count them, FOUR eggplants on my eggplant. LOL One of them is very big. These came on overnight and grew overnight. I swear they weren't there two days ago when I sprayed or YESTERDAY
I have about four or so peppers on the vines Not there yesterday!
About 200 more tomatoes . . .yes exaggerating but hey . . . there's a lot ok?!
One collard plant grew new leaves, but alas the others didn't make it. Still no verdict on the cabbage.
My cucumbers are just so happy. They are influencing the entire garden to grow baby grow. No new signs of that yucky powdery mildew. (Thanks Scott) I think its because of them the the rest of the plants are thriving. A little friendly competition.
And best of all there are big fat bees fluttering throughout my plants this morning along with tiny little yellow looking bees
I'm feeling much better.

The organic supplies that my husband ordered should be delivered today! I am going to carefully inspect those labels to make sure he doesn't end up killing our garden. My husband tends to think more is better. If it calls for two ounces...he puts 4. So I can only imagine how much damage could be done if this is the same product Garden Gal used.
Again...thank you! I will post after we receive and inspect... It has a different name that mentioned here, different company, so I'm hoping it's not the same stuff.

I'm so so glad everything's looking up and will (Hopefully) continue to turn out okay!!!Garden Gal wrote:Well this morning things are looking a little perkier in my garden after my near catastrophe.

Well its been about 10 days since my errant spraying of what I thought was neem to help with insect control. The cabbage and collard plant are struggling to find their way back. Each have several new leaves on them. The bean plant is showing signs of trying to produce beans. I have eggplant, cucumbers and peppers showing nice fruits. So I guess we'll survive. I made a mixture of pepper spray and soap to use now. No more commercial products for me. It's interesting to note, by the way, that the fake neem did nothing to control insects. Whatever was eating my plants is still enjoying the buffet. I think they did less damage than the spray, so I'll use my homemade mixture, and pray for good results.
