Potato Blight and liming the soil afterward

All my potatoes have been nuked by Potato Blight. Have removed haulms and will leave ground for 3 weeks for spores to die. I believe my father used to lime the soil after he had lifted all the spuds after a Potato Blight raid, though I seem to remember him talk about Bordeaux mixture which I would prefer not to use. Has anyone else limed the soil after the dreaded P/Blight? Also should I sow a green manure after the spuds are all up and then lime in the early Spring or is it better to lime immediately after the spuds are lifted?

Found this article https://gardenofeaden.blogspot.com/2009/03/organic-and-cultural-control-of-potato.html on your question. It had some good information. I learned something new :D
