Powdered, wettable sulfur
I guess this would qualify as 'organic'. I had powdery mildew on cucumbers and several squash plants. A light dusting of sulfur and in a couple of days, all evidence of the powdery mildew is gone. This is the second season that I've used this remedy with success.

Many years ago when I first started in farming we would use a lot of sulphur. It was our main weapon against scab and mildew. In fact the organic growers still use a lot of it as it is classed as an organic ok.
Interestingly,Kew Gardens in London in the early days suffered very little from mildew problems.
Then the Clean Air Act was introduced to Britain and open coal fires ceased to be the norm. The resulting loss of London Smogs...which contained high amounts of Sulphur....allowed mildew to come creeping back to the gardens.
Now a full spray programme has to be used.
It was one of the few good things about London pea-soupers.
