Fungus in fennel?

Hi!

I have some bronze fennel and I've seen some white spots in the steam and in the leaves. I imagine that it's some kind of fungus but I don't have any idea! -it's the first time I grow fennel :)

Thank you for your helo and advice

Can you post a picture? It sounds like it could be fungal.

There are some bugs that look fuzzy white and can look like clumps of fungus.

A picture of your whole plant, and a close up of the affected parts would be very helpful.

Your growing conditions would also be helpful.

I don't grow fennel that much. Mostly dill. But that looks more like natural waxy coating of the plant?

Someone else with more experience with fennel will know for sure.

Yeah, bronze fennel does that, too. Although yours looks a little thick, I agree it's normal.

I think so. Unless your plant is turning yellow or brown and wilting, I wouldn't worry about it.

Yours looks like it wipes off and isn't fluffy or blotchy.
