Flowering Variety of San Pedro type Cactus

NIKON DOWNLOAD BIG 075.JPG
I bought some assorted cactus at a local nursery here in Georgia and it has the characteristics of a San Pedro Type. These have been kept on our rear deck and then brought indoors for winters. They are in partial shade most of the time. We were surprised to see them flower and bloom for only 24 hours.

It is a lovely flower. I am not surprised. I have an eria orchid. It is dubbed the one day wonder because it only blooms for one day. The bonus is that one day flowers usually do bloom more often.

Most of the white flowered cacti I know bloom at night and are pollinated by moths.
I have a night blooming cereus that only flowers one night, and "Madam Pele" that only blooms for one day.
