white things on my succulents?

20170713_140233.jpg
Not sure if this is typical but my two succulents have these white things on them and I'm not sure it's normal....has anyone seen something like this before? I observed them for a while and they don't seem to be crawling bugs....they're just these odd mini rice looking things that just sit there. They're kept indoors by a screened-in window in Vancouver Canada. Any advice is appreciated :)

The white things you noticed are molted/shed skin of aphids. Aphids are hard to spot until your eyes adjust to their camouflage. I see green aphids on your photo of the larger/close up plant.

You're right applestar! If I zoom in, I too see the aphids! I just rinsed the plants with my high power sprayer in the sink and I'll monitor them like a hawk! Thank you sooooo much for helping me :) :D
