My ponytail palm

My ponytail palm just got done blooming. Problem is, while it was blooming, the top of the bloom got accidentally broken off. The rest of it bloomed nicely, but now, that whole part is dead and the top leaves just under the top "spike" are turning brown also. Help!

Can you post a good picture?

I took a picture. I am a senior citizen and not computer savvy. It's on my gallery. How do I post it here?

You need to upload the photo to https://www.photobucket.com, and then copy the link to paste in your reply. You will have to create an account on photobucket, but not that hard. Just look for where it says "register", or "sign up" on https://www.photobucket.com. You said that all the top leaves turned brown, so it may push some new growth out the side, but a picture speaks 1000 words. Honestly, from not seeing it, you can just let it be, but if the brown is spreading you should cut it off below the brown. Best

Also, it may just be the first few top leaves that turn, and then it will stop. This is why you will watch it closely, and use your best judgement on what action needs to be taken.
