I have these aloe plants that I was given by a friend (all popped from the large plant on the right), and neither of us know what type it is. I was told to wait until it bloomed, but they have had theirs for several years and have never had a bloom come out, yet they keep producing new plants from the roots. The SAP is a bright saffron yellow.
I am asking because one of my cats broke off a leaf and I would love to use it to make a gel, but I want to make sure it's a safe species to use.
