Desert rose should be by itself?

I potted a desert rose with two other succulents and this was my first "tree". Should I not have planted them like this?

Location: Hawaii, zone 12a 587 ft elev.

Eventually they will need to be separated but as long as they have the same requirements, they should be ok for a while.
