Re: Post a peek of your succulent plants

Here's a few of my babies flowering at the moment, wish I had taken pictures when the other flowers were open. I already posted pictures of most of my collection on the thread I posted titled "thought I'd share pix of my addiction...um..collection" if you'd like to view more of my pix you can check them out there

KittieKAT, you have a nice variety of cacti. How did you get them to flower?

They look very impressive. How often do you feed them? Do use a combined, cacti and succulent fertiliser?

I'm kinda iffy when it comes to feeding my plant's I always think I'm gonna kill them! I usually do it every 4-5 watering I dilute it in a spray bottle with purified water, sink water is to harsh for plant's let alone human beings! Its a MG cacti+succulent plant food, (Which is why I'm kinda resistant to using it) I spray a little on then I water with regular water the next few times the soil is dry. I JUST lost a bid off of one of my flowering cacti cause someone thought it was a fluffy bug (SMH  )
So kinda upset about that! But my rebutia decided that it was gonna make up for its fellow cacti losing a bud by opening another flower for ME and showing me a promise for another one to open at any time, it still has 11 more buds to open on it!

You've done very well. I hadn't heard of using spray bottles on them. The plants and flowers look very good.

Please post your advice about flowering, here https://www.helpfulgardener.com/forum/vi ... 38&t=57989 It would help me and anyone else who wants to know, to have advice about it, in one thread. Thanks.

My sister gave me a few to put in my garden last year. They survived the winter well.

I'm quite new to the world of succulents. But here's what I've got so far~ most of these plants are acquired in the past month. I live in an apartment so only have a window sill so can't get too many plants :(

Awesome! I wonder when I'll see my first bloom... at this rate it seems like my lithops from local nursery will bloom first! It seems like a weird time for it to bloom, no?

Here is one of my succulent bowls. It has euphorbia tirucalli, echeveria, sedum, and other random succulents.

Haha thank you :-()
Unfortunately, the guy down stairs decided he was gonna a sneak on my Sun porch to see my plants and thought it would be a good idea to "Squash" my big flower bud right before it opened, so disappointed. I was really excited about seeing that one open...this is all that's left of the beautiful bloom it was going to be :'(

And here's some semps in bloom

I am loving these flowers this year, the first time we've had them and I'm hoping we get them again next year.

The tag that came with it is MIA but after some searching I'm pretty confident in the fact that it is definitely called a Moss Rose. At least, I hope I'm right about that.
