Very Unusual Growth Pattern

I have a plant that's identical to this although it's not my plant in the photo. In the center of the plant which is where any new growth comes from, the small new aloe leaf is growing inverted. The V which can usually be seen on top of any aloe leaf while it's growing or has finished growing is not visible on this new aloe leaf even though is can be see at an extreme angle (Looking underneath). So, my question is two fold
1--is something wrong with plant's aloe leaf growth? and
2--will is affect or allow the next aloe leaf's growing in?

I've had these exact plants before but I've never seen this type of thing happen before. Very strange.
Any info or opinion will be appreciated

On my plant, that small center aloe leaf on my plant is almost 1 3/4 inches long and has a lot of growing to do. It's a baby aloe leaf
