Moon Cactus 11 oz

Bought this cactus at Lowes, it is so beautiful...anyway, we live in Florida and was wondering if we can transplant this succulent in a bigger container and put it outside the trees where it will receive filtered light. In the summer it gets very hot but underneath the shade of the tree area it stays nice and cool. Would the plant die off if we put it there? Thank you for any help and reply. :D

The thing to be careful about with these and any cacti is putting them into a pot that is too large and watering too much. They generally like a smaller pot and like it dry. They grow during the summer months and go dormant for the winter. And they like it warm (above 60°). Bright light with a little direct sun if it isn't too blazing.

These grafted cacti don't tend to live too long so I guess that's the bad news. But they are pretty.
