Christmass cactus question

Hi I have a christmass cactus I was wondering, how often do they bloom. Allso what are it's water requirments? I have had it a while and this is the first time I have seen it bloom that is why I ask.

Mine bloom twice a year. They start around Thanksgiving, take a short break during February, and start blooming again around the middle of March.

I water mine more when they start to bud out and while they're in bloom, and when I see that they're producing new leaves. Otherwise, I let them go pretty dry between waterings. If they begin to look a bit wilty, I know I've ignored them too long.

Kisal----- I really have to thank you for telling me about submerging my plants in water, until it drips out the bottom. Then let them sit and drain off the excess, so they don't get overwatered. That has been working Sooooo well, since I have been doing it.---Thanks again for the suggestion.
