jade plant question

Hi I have two jade plant cutings that have been airing out for 1 day so far, and I was wondering how long to let them air out and what to do after that. your friend Melissa Beth. :?:

Let them dry until the cut end is hard, like a callous. Then plant them in a rapid-draining soil, such as is designed for cacti and succulents. :)

I'm not sure on cuttings, I usually let any leaf that breaks off sit for about a week or two until roots start to come out, then stick the end of the leaf in dirt. While it's sitting, I'll dunk it in water every couple of days to help it stay hydrated. I've started dozens of jades this way. They take awhile to grow to any size though.
