Hello everyone,
I discovered that at the greenhouse where I work there is a 50% discount on every indoor plants.
So, I bought a plant that the greenhouse had since a few months and was to expensive. So, since it was 50% off, I baught it. It is so beautiful. She cost me 54$ instead of 95$.

I answered to a post the other day about ponytail palms in the tree/shrub section of the forum here https://www.helpfulgardener.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30274 This person was curious about the name of a curly ponytail palm. This also got me wondering as there wasn't much information about the palms that have the corklike curls hanging down such as yours. I'm not sure what they are specifically but it'd be great to know if any of you do

WOW!!! Could you post up some pictures of your Ponny tail palm?Schldhd wrote:I bought a small pony tail 23 years ago, that's right 23 years, it was about a foot tall and has grown to a height of 17 feet. I kept increasing the size of the pot until it is now in a pot so big it takes three of us to repot it.
No value in this post, just wanted to brag about it.....
A little update on mine. The mealy bugs have pretty much well dissapeared if not all. I will take it outside so that maybe the rest will be eaten by something. I will also spray the plant down to remove the porduct that I used on it.
I just have one question. I have a few other plants outside like a Hibiscus and Geraniums on my patio. Is it ok if I put my pnytail palm at about 20 feet from the other plants so that they don't get any mealy bugs? I really donnot want them to propagate.
