Question on watering an aloe plant simple yes or no

hey real quick, I just found out about the cares of an aloe plant. It's
8:00pm and was wondering can I water it or do I need to wait for the sun to be out so it'll dry it faster

Is the plant indoors or outdoors? Indoors, I'd probably wait until the next morning to water. Outdoors, sure, give it a drink. :)

The reason for that is that plants need less water if they are in dimmer light. A plant outdoors in shade gets more light than many indoor plants that sit near a sunny window.

Most important, though, is whether the soil is already wet. If yes, then don't add more water.
