Too Much sun for Aloe?

Hi
Since the weather is finally beautiful and sunny in this part of PA, I've finally been able to put a small number of plants outside in a nice full sun in the backyard. My question is this--concerning aloe, is there such a thing as too much sun for the aloe? Can the sun cause the loss of green color in the plant? Right now, it can stay sunny for approx 10 to 12 hrs when the weather is right and thats how long I leave all of those plants out including the aloe.
Thanks
Dave

Direct sunlight outdoors can make aloe leaves develop a sort of brownish color. It might be better to limit the sunlight to no more than about 6 hours per day. :)

Any container plants you bring outside after overwintering indoors should be allowed to gradually become accustomed to the elements including the sun. You'd get sunburned too if you went to the beach and stayed out in the sun all day.
