My Night-blooming Cereus has finally graced us with a flower

Too bad it's not smell-a-vision. The fragrance is WONDERFUL :D

Just one night. I woke extra early to see what happened and the flower stayed open only until dawn light -- closed up even before the morning rays of sun reached it.

That reminds me of Dennis the Menace, where his neighbor has the night blooming plant and everyone is gathered waiting for it to bloom under the full moon, Dennis comes flying in wreaking the party and everyone misses the bloom which lasted only a minute or so.

Beautiful flower, now I want one.
