Succulent? I think?

I am pretty sure this is a succulent. Anyone had any idea what this is? It's leaves are large and waxy and has very thick stems. I've been trying to identify it online, but to no avail. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks all!

It looks to me like a blunt-leaved peperomia ... maybe Peperomia obtusifolia 'Green and Gold'?

They were quite popular as terrarium plants at one time, although they can get fairly large. It's hard for me to tell the size of your plant and the size of its leaves. They almost always outgrew their terrariums.

Yes, that it is. Once you said the name, I googled it to see images, and that's exactly what it is. Thank you; I really thought it was a succulent by the waxiness of the leaves.

I have other types of peperomias, but the stem and waxiness of this one did not resemble any of the other peperomias I have!

Yes, the genus peperomia is quite large and varied. I think one could have a houseful of all different varieties.
