I love this plant and I'm sad to see it doing so poorly! I used to have the aloe inside in pretty good light all day but then it got too big for the ledge it was on so I moved it to a different spot with a little less light. I did just fine for a while and recently started to turn yellowish and droopy. I repotted it in a larger pot and moved it outside with the nicer weather. I water as I always have and I'm afraid it is going to die!! Any suggestions?

I agree.
I think " I water as I always have" is where it all started. Moving to a less sunny location, it would have taken longer to dry, needing less water or longer intervals. Starting to suffer, it would have taken longer to uptake water, needing even less.
Then it was transplanted while struggling (did you notice any root damage?), and the larger pot with what appears to be significant amount of peat in the mix would retain moisture longer.

Thank you for the responses!! I really hope my aloe makes a beautiful recovery.
I'll check for root damage when I transplant again. I bought cactus/succulent soil which was recommended to me at the store. Is that ok? I also read that I should put gravel/rocks at the bottom. Thoughts on keeping it inside/outside? It was only outside for a couple of days but if I bring it back in I will make sure to put it in the sun.
