Beautiful specimen at Home Depot... ID pls??

I fell in love with this bonsai at home depot just yesterday. I'm trying to google all kinds of identification guides but I can't seem to find anything like it. Please help!!

this is my first bonsai ever and I really don't want to screw it up. :S

t looks like a parsley panax. It is also called a Ming Aralia when it is trained for bonsai. Here it is often used as a hedge plant.

Oh wow! You totally nailed it. Thank you! It does seem to be a "Parlsey" Aralia Variegated.

So far it's doing good, except when I bought it they had it sitting in water - not cool.

I looked at that and thought it looked like parsley! :)

Panax comes in regular and variegated forms. It has small flowers but it is usually grown as a hedge plant. It is a host plant for fruit flies. I used to have a hedge of the regular panax in the back yard. We removed it when we replaced the fence with a wall. The hedge was about 7-8 ft tall.
