Please Identify - Bonsai

I found this tree in a recently abandoned house. Can anyone identify it for me? Thank you in advance.

I am just bumping this post, so that hopefully some more people will see it.
I've been looking, but your tree does not appear to be any of the most common bonsai tree types and I can't identify it.
Sorry we haven't been able to get you an answer yet, but maybe we still will!

I really have no idea. it could well be a fig. And for now calling it a ficus (Fig) will do. Read up on the learning forum here how to use a chop-stick to test for its water needs daily. Also poke those stones on top of the pot. If they are glued together pick them off, they will interfere with watering.
