Hello!
I bought this bonsai today but the only information they gave me at the store was "bonsai"...
Does anyone know what type of bonsai it is?
Thank you for your precious help!
Bye bye!

At a guess, it is a ficus. The most common ficus varieties have leaves that are slimmer and more pointed at the end:

But there are MANY varieties of ficus and some are more similar to yours. This is a green island ficus:

(Hopefully someone else will check me if I am wrong)

Ficus is a good choice for starting out with. It does well kept indoors for long periods of time (though like most trees, benefits from a summer vacation outdoors). It is pretty adaptable and easy care. It needs plenty of light, like a good south facing window. Water it only when the soil is starting to dry out a bit. The soil it is in now looks very dense and organic. When you repot, put it in some bonsai soil or cactus mix that will be more free draining and not hold water so much.

It likes a humidity tray and especially in the winter when the house is dry, benefits from being misted every day or so.
