Need help to identify the bonsai I have rescued.

I'm sure it is a common bonsai because I have seen them before. I am thinking it is a ficus but not sure what kind. I am new to the bonsai world.

Yes, I think it looks like a Ficus. To verify snip a single leaf from the plant and look for a drop of white sap.

Yep, it has sap.
