Two unknown Bonsais

I got two bonsais one was my sisters until she forgot about it so I took it in the other I bought today from a local store.

Just guessing here... The first looks like it could be Malpighia glabra, AKA Acerola, AKA Barbados Cherry. The second is either a Ficus or Buttonwood. I'm leaning towards the latter, but the former is probably correct. The immature leaves look *kind of* like F. burtt-davyii in shape, but lack the veining. A F. retusa/microphylla cultivar is more likely (I.e. "Golden Gate" or "Green Island").
