I think it's a Carmona Bonsai...

Hello Helpful Gardener members. I'm new to the forum (hurrey ) and to the bonsai care.
Could anyone, please, help me identify this 'little tree' on the species? Is it really a Carmona? In the store where I bought it, there were only this bonsai type on display, and they said it was 5 years old. What do you think about this?

I believe that it was correctly identified as Carmona, the notched, glossy leaves are pretty distinctive. You will also find information if you search under the name Fukien Tea. Try the search feature here as there have been past threads on this species. I don't own one so I can't offer a lot. Here is a basic care sheet.

thanks for the reply. I've heard this one is quite a hardy bonsai to care of. I really don't want her to die you know? I think I will make a search at the others sections for that 'fukien tea' nomenclature, and if I can't find what I need I will post something there.

watch the fertilizer strength, leaves will get big and mess the proportion up.
