Care of Fukien Tea Bonsai - Chinese Elm Bonsai

Please help me identify the species of my 2 bonsai. I really want to take proper care of them but the store where I bought them from didn t provide me this info. I need your help. Thank you very much

This is a Fukien Tea.

And this is a Olive. Mine is called Delavay Osmanthus.
I am not positive that yours is an Olive but the leaves look similar. There are so many different spices of olive used in Bonsai it is hard to know for sure.

Ahh Chinese Elm probably the only tree I don't have in my collection ... yet

For sure the top one is a Chinese Elm. As for the other one, not sure if its a Fuken Tea, but the other possibility I'm thinking of has the same requirements (not sure how to spell the scientific name, but its called something like the Bird Plum Tree).

Thank you all for your quick replys....your help is priceless you wew right about the fukien tea bonsai, but regarding my second bonsai, I looked for some pics and I m still confused look at these pictures I found...until today I thought my bonsai is a European Hornbeam, because I found the foliage very resembling, but now I looked up for some photos with the Chinese Elm and a think that the two are quite resemblig. Despite this resemblig, I m inclined to believe that it's a Chinese Elm indeed. But the photos with the Olive bonsai are very resembling too ( so...I have three options:-?? please help me in this one too. Here are two photos I found on the internet

I would say Chinese Elm because a closer look at the branching of your tree.
The branching of your tree is different looking than a Olive. Also your trunk looks more like a Chinese Elm.

yeah, I think you're right. Thank you all for helping me. Another problem I'm faced with is about their soil. I red somewhere that it's good to change the soil of the bonsai after buying it because stores might have not taken good care of them. Do you think it's ok if I do so? I have already bought the special soil for bonsai but I'm not sure what to do. Thank you again

I'm fairly certain that you have a Fukien Tea and a Chinese Elm. I don't grow Fukiens but the notched leaves are distinctive. I do grow Chinese Elms and find them pretty easy to care for.

Regarding the re-potting of the Chinese Elm, it would help to know what your plans are as far as locating the tree. Are you going to keep it outside, allowing it to experience the change of seasons or try to manage it as an indoor tree?

I would like to keep it inside, because the weather is very instable and I don't want to loose this bonsai. It's very cold during the night and during the day the temperature is quite high. It shouldn't be this way, but the seasons are not like they used to be. So, I think it's more safe for him to keep it inside:) thak you

I believe mine is a Fukien Tea as well thanks to your photos. But mine is more twiggy with the same foliage. The photot is not that great, and now the poor tree does not even look like this it has lost most of its leaves.

I doubt that your weather is too extreme for a Chinese Elm. If you want to keep it indoors make sure to provide very good lighting, either in the form of a bright window or supplemental lighting.

Ideally you would re-pot the tree just as it was coming out of dormancy. Since you intend to keep it inside it won't experience dormancy as it would if kept outside. It is possible to do this work when the tree is in leaf, I just did one today in fact. Have you done this type of work before? Also I would be interested in seeing a picture of the soil you purchased as not all bonsai soils are of the same quality.
