HELP IDENTIFY - Chinese Elm Leaves

i would appreciate any info on which type tree i have. just bought from a local box store. no info on package, went to growers web sight, no help, just that they grow twelve different types. it has a half inch trunk, small green leaves, oval shape with jagged edges, tunk also has s shape curve. in a 4 in. x 4 in. x 8 in. tall pot. any input on type would be grateful

Earl K,

From your description there is a fair chance that it is a Chinese Elm. They are one of the common bonsai available at box stores. Do the leaves look anything like these?

thanks norm,they all look similar but top left looks like it. i don't have a way to post picture or i would have in the first place.chinese elm is not listed as one of the types they grow but that looks like my leaves.thanks for your input and pictures.
