Does anyone have experience shredding wisteria?
If so, what type of shredder? Is it likely to create problems gumming up the shredder? And would it be considered "green" or "brown"? One thing I DO know - there's plenty of it!
If it is green and alive, then it is green. If it is green and alive but you cut it down and it dried out, then it is still green. If it is dead and brown then it is a brown. If it is a woody branch, then I say brown. If it is a vine, then it may shred easier if it were dried first. If you are cold composting, the size of the material doesn't matter as much. Pieces of vine 12" or so will break down just fine. Machete, perhaps?
