Composting creeping fig leaves

Hi,
I am a new gardener trying my hand at composting. Can I use creeping fig leaves as green material. The articles I looked up states that creeping fig( ficus pumila) is mildly poisonous to mammals. Can cause nausea, vomiting and contact dermatitis. Will the heat of decomposition neutralise these toxins? Has anyone attempted this? Thanks in advance

In general, organic toxins like this do break down and become innocuous in the composting process.
