Built a tumbler composter

I built a tumbler composter for someone on craigslist. I underestimated my material cost by half. However if I am going to make something I am going to make it right, and make it to last a long time.

So I have 2 composters I just need to get rid of this one. anyway here are pics of the composter:

Looks really nice. DH built me one like it years ago but I didn't know anything about composting so it didn't work. We re-used the barrel on something else. Now I'm trying to think of a way to convince him to let me build compost bens.

I am going to add some angle brackets to break up the compost as well as some drain and air holes, but it should work!!

Very nice work there!

Tumblers require a higher level of management and fussing to get proper compost, and the size is rarely enough to get much heat. They have their place but bins and piles are hard to beat.
