Have any of you used comfrey as compost?
From the usual google, looks like the leaves can be thrown in the compost bin, or laid out around plants. The roots go to China. I started some last fall, and in 1 gal nursery pots, green tops showing. I was checking one to put in a favored spot, and indeed little roots all around bottom of pot. I do have more started, and of course root system smaller.
I have had a comfrey plant, and it may have withered in the heat and neglect, hard to believe with it! People have asked at the farmers market for it, and that perked my interest.
